Lore is a free, digital, all-inclusive zine featuring works centered around the character Huey from the mobile gacha game NU: carnival. This zine will consist of works ranging from what life was like pre-canon to what Huey might be up to at present. All Huey ships (romantic or platonic) are welcome. Because the source material is 18+, all contributors must be 18 years of age or older to apply.

What is this zine about?

This zine is dedicated to the OG Grand Sorcerer: Huey. Without him, all of our beloved favorites never would have come together in the game we love. This zine focuses on two aspects, past and present. Contributors have the choice to create works either centered around Huey up to the point Eiden is introduced or a “Where is he now?” of sorts, reflecting on what he might be doing at present while the main story is going on.

What kind of content will be featured?

Lore does not have any content restrictions, so long as the work created represents the required theme. All works must be tagged accordingly. Outward character bashing will not be allowed. We understand that many people have strong negative feelings towards Huey and they way he has treated certain characters in canon. Works can focus on those negative interactions and portray him as the villain, but blatant character bashing will not be tolerated.

General Guidelines:

• All applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Lore features works centered around Huey (NU: carnival) either pre-canon or showing what he is currently doing while the main story is going on.
• This project is open to all who apply.
• You may apply for multiple roles but are only expected to complete one piece at the time of final submission.
• You are not required to submit samples and you will not be graded on your application since the zine is open to everyone. Mods will just be using applications to verify age and that you are not outwardly inflammatory (posting hate speech, etc).
